When I first ventured into the world of digital entrepreneurship a decade ago, I was driven by passion but faced daunting challenges. I remember feeling overwhelmed by the sheer depth of knowledge required to stand out in a crowded marketplace.
My initial attempts were met with frustration, as I struggled to gain traction against established competitors. However, what I lacked in experience, I compensated for with relentless determination and a willingness to learn.

This is how I scale my digital business
Using content marketing:
The first important step I took was to dive deeper into content marketing. I realized that educating my audience was key. By creating valuable, informative content tailored to my target market, I was able to establish credibility and attract a loyal following.
I focused on crafting blog posts, articles and infographics that answered common questions and solved problems. This not only positioned me as an authority in my niche but also drove organic traffic to my website and some other articles posting site like Medium and Quora.
SEO – the soul of a website:
As my content began to resonate with readers, I turned my attention to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This area became my playground, and I meticulously learned the ins and outs of keyword research.
Utilizing tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs and SEMrush, I identified relevant keywords with significant search volume but limited competition. This strategic approach ensured my content was discoverable, driving even more visitors to my site.
Additionally, I adopted semantic SEO after the March 2024 Google Core update, which focuses on understanding the context and intent behind search queries. It wasn't like I was keyword stuffing before the core update, even before that I used keywords naturally. Before the March 2024 core update, many sites used to get a lot of traffic by stuffing. This is not possible today, you have to really work if you want to survive.
Rather than stuffing keywords into my articles, I aimed to provide comprehensive answers to user queries. This strategy not only improved my rankings but also enhanced the user experience, as visitors began to find exactly what they were looking for on my site.
On-page optimization was another crucial element in my scaling journey. I meticulously optimized meta tags, headings, and images to improve site performance and clarity. Additionally, I ensured my website was mobile-friendly and loaded quickly, recognizing that user experience directly impacts SEO rankings.
Social media marketing:
SMM played a key role in expanding my reach, I primarily use these platforms for affiliate marketing. I created engaging content across multiple platforms, particularly focusing on visual platforms like Facebook and Pinterest.
By sharing excerpts from my articles, behind-the-scenes peeks, and user-generated content, I built a community that felt connected to my brand. This engagement drove traffic to multiple websites and increased the number of customers.
Email marketing:
Yes, email marketing in 2025 is still a game-changer in the field of digital marketing. I developed automated funnels to nurture my leads effectively. By offering value-packed lead magnets, I encouraged visitors to subscribe to my mailing list. This allowed me to keep in touch with my audience, share valuable resources, and promote my services seamlessly.
Throughout my journey, I experienced several growth milestones that validated my strategies. From achieving my first 1,000 email subscribers to reaching six figures in revenue (mainly from Affiliate Sales), each success fueled my motivation.
