Shakti, on the other hand, embodies the feminine energy, recognized as the ultimate creative power of the universe. Shakti and Shiva story:
The story of Shiva and Shakti is beautifully narrated through various mythological occurrences. One tale describes Shiva's intense meditation, which detached him from all worldly affairs. Overcome by grief and longing, Shakti decides to test his devotion. Manifesting as Sati, she immolates herself in the fire of a yagna (sacred ritual), hoping that Shiva will feel her sacrifice and come to her aid.
Shiva, consumed by sorrow upon learning of Sati's sacrifice, enters a state of deep meditation and renunciation. But Shakti's determination and love never waver. She is reborn as Parvati, a strong and vibrant goddess, who devotes herself to winning Shiva's heart once again.
Thus begins a divine play of love, power, and devotion. Parvati undertakes rigorous tapasya (penance) to appease Shiva, earning his attention and eventual acceptance as his consort. Their union is celebrated as one that balances the forces of creation and destruction and ensures the harmony of the universe.

Later I thought of fasting – staying without eating or drinking anything the whole day of Maha-Shivratri and drinking water after the next morning's worship. I tried this and I felt that the power to do this has also been given to me by Lord Shiva, I get the power from him, so what is mine that I have offered to God?
The answer is, nothing!
As I can feel, you can also embrace and respect this sacred relationship as well, which finds solitude in the divine association that brings harmony and knowledge in your life.
